Made for Scream Jam 2024.

A card game akin to MTG or Hearthstone.

Basics:

During your turn (displayed on the right) you can drag cards from your hand onto the board to play them. Playing a card costs mana (displayed on the left).

During your turn, you can drag cards on your side onto cards on the enemy's side to make them fight each other.

Press SPACEBAR to pass your turn.

Some cards have attributes written on them at the top of their descriptions.

Attributes:

Lightfooted: won't become exhausted when first played.

Lifesteal: will gain HP equal to damage dealt to enemies when attacking them directly.

Ranged: will ignore opposing blockers and attack opponent directly at end of owner's turn; assuming not exhausted.

Overall:

At the start of your turn, you replenish all your mana and gain +1 to your maximum mana.

Cards in your hand with a white outline are cards you can afford to play.

Cards on the board with a white outline are cards that you can force to attack.

Cards become exhausted after attacking or when they are first played. A card that's exhausted can't attack. Exhaustion is reset at the start of each turn.

Your cards will attack your opponent directly at the end of your turn if there are no opposing cards to block.
